If you surf the net, you will see that blogs abound the online world. It seems that more and more people are into blogging. Blogging for money is more like a career now rather than just a simple past time. There are three popular ways of making money through blogging and you can find them right here. The first one is through advertisement. For instance you’re already writing blogs. Now, in order to make money, you must get advertisements. Once your blogs are popular, more and more visitors will checkout your blog. Because of the popularity of your blogs, you will soon receive offers for advertisements from companies and product brands. The companies will then pay you for the advertisements. In most cases, you will be advertising products and services that are related to your blogs. The second is by writing reviews.
While you’re writing a blog, you can also write reviews. You can earn more money by blogging about services, products, and popular companies. Since business owners want to popularize their names, they will offer you to write reviews about their products and brands. The reviews should be positive so that more people are attracted to the said products or services. It must be able to generate an optimistic impression. If you’re a popular and experienced blogger, more and more companies will request you to write reviews about them. The third way to earn money is to do blogging and get paid.

There have always been do-it-yourselfers succeeding at web promotion and search engine optimization. In fact, many of the established businesses offering web services today came from humble beginnings, perhaps nothing more than a college student with a laptop, an internet connection, and too much free time. The Web evolves as the result of the innovation and experimentation of individuals. The sharing of knowledge. The do-it-yourself attitude. As text link brokers and mass link networking decrease in value and use in social media increases, it becomes more important for companies to have an internal approach and awareness of search engine marketing. Don’t get me wrong; outsourcing to SEO firms is still a smart option. That said, making the most out of Web 2.0 usually requires some level of cooperation between SEO firm and site owner. You don’t need to be an expert to know the basics of good SEO practices, and that added knowledge will be a great advantage whether you’re working along side an SEO team, or promoting your own site in your spare time. So if you’re on a "need to know" basis with SEO, the following points should illustrate what an overall plan should include:
1. Create Search Engine-Friendly Content Unique web content is your most valuable asset, and ensuring search engines can read it is crucial. Text embedded in images or Flash cannot be read, so make sure you use important keywords, headings, and hyperlinks in plain text form. Instead of using images as navigation links, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) makes it easy to format those links to look more like ‘buttons’, thus creating powerful anchor text as well as making it visually appealing. Use heading tags properly and don’t try to hide keywords or text by making it the same color as the page background or shrinking it so it can’t be seen. Make sure the keywords you wish to rank high for are used frequently in the page copy but within reason. Now that you’ve created good content, is it actually being crawled? Copy and paste a page’s URL into a search engine to see if it has been indexed. If you’ve just created the page, it may take a few days to show up. Aside from age, many factors can lead to web pages not being indexed by search engines, such as duplicate content (ie. a printer-friendly version of a page might be indexed and the normal version not, or vice versa); links generated by JavaScript instead of HTML; poor site architecture (ie. using too many sub-directories); lengthy, dynamically generated URLs using special characters; and orphaned pages. 2. Choose Your Keywords Wisely One of the first steps of SEO, this one needs to be done properly the first time or all your future efforts and promotion could end up being wasted. Start by writing down general terms that describe your products, services or web content. Use keyword research services to investigate word and phrase variations. Wordtracker, KeywordDiscovery, and the Google AdWords suggestion tool are good starting points. The goal is to find those niche phrases that your target market uses to find sites just like yours and optimize your site for them. If the phrases do not get enough use by searchers, your profits from ranking for them will be low. At the same time, stay away from general terms that are tougher to rank for (ie. like "art", "computers", "business", etc.) as a great portion of the traffic will be irrelevant and you’ll break the bank attaining such competitive phrases.

SEO is not common to everybody who is already in the field of computers and internet. Even your professors teaching you the basic of computer programming, the programming languages and all the math stuffs you needed to be able to graduate in a computer related degrees as of this time of writing. In today’s more developing and I can say developed internet world, with the existence of a lot technology; the Web 2.0, entertainment blog, etc. SEO or an acronym for Search Engine Optimization is now a demanding job in this field. Well, if you are not quite popular to this job, try to search some jobs regarding this field and probably you can see a hundreds of them looking for a professionals and new players in the world of SEO. Try to search at jobstreet.com. Site optimization is somewhat challenging, in terms of benefits you can get from optimizing seocontest2008 keyword; such keyword for an SEO contest which was launched this February 2008 by UKWebMasterWorld.com and will last on March 2008. SEO have been dominating the world of internet. Search engines play an important role in the life of the internet. Well, there’s a lot to tell here, anyway I will leave you a word from the man who created the Web, Tim Berners-Lee; told:
People have sometimes asked me whether I am upset that I have not made a lot of money from the Web. In fact, I made some quite conscious decisions about which way to take my life. These I would not change - though I am making no comment on what I might do in the future. What does distress me, though, is how important a question it seems to be to some. This happens mostly in America, not Europe. Build site which aims to generate traffics like; internet blogging as I mentioned earlier, flash games site, web directory, free articles, free web content and social networking community site, Another heathcote Entertainment blog | seocontest2008, online games, online games subscription, photo games | Infanta tech |travel blog | business blog | games | personal weblog | Irene’s weblog | blogging business | technology blog | blogging business | internet blogging | flash games |web directory |free articles |free web content |social networking community site |Darwin’s Blog |technology | Another heathcote |. You can do more and broaden up your senses of knowledge by using the search engines. What is maddening is the terrible notion that a person’s value depends on how important and financially successful they are and that that is measured in terms of money. That suggests disrespect for the researchers across the globe developing ideas for the next leaps in science and technology. Core in my upbringing was a value system that put monetary gain well in its place, behind things like doing what I really want to do. To use net worth as a criterion by which to judge people is to set our children’s’ sights on cash rather than on things that will actually make them happy.
This has something to do with the importance of SEO in the world of free lancing, internet money making, especially on optimizing website. As you can see, I am leaving you the importance of secontest2008 which can help every SEO with the techniques they have in landing at the SERP. SERP is an acronym for Search Engine Result’s Page. The existence of the web, you can do more about it from Weaving the Web, a lot you can do. Provide your own stability in terms of job, financial status, and life maintenance. Basically, setting up a website or a blog. Today’s time more blogs are being built every minute with a different niche like; blogs that tackles on high technology gadgets blog, travel blog, entertainment blog, business blog, games, high tech gadgets blog, personal weblog, personal blogs like Irene’s weblog, blogging business, technology blog and a community site, blogging business.

An SEO contest is an activity awarding prizes that challenges search engine optimization (SEO) practitioners to rank themselves among the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN using certain keyword(s). As a webmaster you probably already came across some of them or even participated in. Some of the major SEO contests organized are the Globalwarming Awareness 2007 (www.seoworldchampionship.com), v7ndotcom elursrebmem, Ambachdotcom, Carcasherdotcom, and more recently the SEOContest2008 where the winner gets $1,000 for ranking number one one on Google.com.
This type of contest is controversial because it often leads to massive amounts of link spamming as participants try to boost the rankings of their pages by any means available. Now the big question is whether it is good or bad to organize SEO Contests. The organizing body of an seocontest2008 competition may hold the activity without promotion of a product or service in mind; or they may organize a contest in order to market something on the Internet. It is surely a good thing in terms of marketing as the SEO contest will bring thousands of backlinks in much shorter time that it would take if link building was done normally, that is, directory submissions, article submissions, bookmarking and so on. The negative side will be the unrelated backlink, spam backlink, poor quality link(though some site build quality link) since most of the participant are webmaster who’s aim only is to win the contest and become popular. For Participants part, they can showcase their skills and potentially discover new techniques and improve himself. So what’s it gonna be, is it good or bad ? to sum it all, SEO Contest are both good and bad, it’s up to the organizer on how they implement the rules and for the participant to build quality links to promote the site.
